The major duties of this position will include:
Answering multiple phone lines, taking messages and resolving issues. Planning and organizing work accurately and with attention to detail in a fast paced, high pressure area. Processing work consisting of multi-disciplinary coordination of duties that involve multifaceted steps, processes, and methods. Maintaining confidentiality of records, equipment or computer access and other sensitive information. Developing methods for automated various administrative reports, files or records. Possessing experience and skills utilizing various types of office automation software or tools (i.e. Personal Computer, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Communicating orally with individuals in various positions within an office to ensure timely completion of top priority issues. Responding to customer inquiries via email, telephone or in person, always using great communication and customer service skills. Scheduling agency staff and/or clients as required for meetings, interviews, or appointments. Entering information into the computer system accurately. Troubleshooting problems quickly as they arise. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:
Specialized Experience. Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-04 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:

Applicants will be required to possess a valid and current State issued Driver's License. Physical Requirements:
Work requires movement throughout the Medical Center, standing, bending, sitting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds. There exist prolonged periods of working at a computer terminal. Climbing associated with stocking of equipment and other items in storage areas is necessary. Normal safety precautions are utilized as appropriate for office, hospital and warehouse settings. The work involves moderate discomfort when visiting sites away from the office. At times the employee may be required to wear personal protective equipment (i.e. mask and gown) when visiting other work areas with other environmental exposures including wheelchair repair area or Prosthetic and Orthotic Laboratory. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
