Maintenance Technician

Description/Job Summary (2nd shift position) - located in Bluffton, IN
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
o Troubleshoot and repair complex CNC machining, robotics, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment through a variety of methods.
o Read work orders to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance. Complete and close the work order and open a new work order if follow up maintenance/repair is required.
o Do service repair work on air compressors, air lines, and coolant lines.
o Rebuild and/or repair as well as reassemble machines and equipment.
o Use test equipment such as AC/DC volt, OHM meters, etc. to troubleshoot and gage repaired equipment.
o Connect hydraulic lines to new fixtures and test to insure the equipment is functioning properly.
o Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic components, valves, cylinders and pressure regulators.
o Troubleshoot and repair outside equipment such as lights, HVAC units, evaporators, etc.
o Do preventative maintenance on all compressor and production equipment as prescribed.
o Install new machines by leveling machines; running air, electrical components, conduit, pipe and coolant lines and testing to insure it is ready for production.
Required Skills
Applicants should be well versed in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of complex CNC machining equipment.
Must have the ability to fabricate, install, set-up, and program various types of electrical devices; including vision systems, automated assemblies, robotics, and automated material handling systems.
Preferred Skills
1. PLC troubleshooting and programming.
2. A/C and D/C drive troubleshooting.
3. Knowledge of power distribution.
4. General knowledge of CNC equipment upkeep and repair.
5. Ability to operate basic software functions of a personal computer.
6. Planning & organizational skills.
Required Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience.
Mechanical electrical controls experience in complex CNC and PLC electrical platforms including; Fanuc, Allen Bradley and Siemens.
Preferred Experience
Required Education
2 year technical/associates degree or equivalent in work experience.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience and have the ability to work with complex CNC and PLC electrical platforms including; Fanuc and Allen Bradley.
Well versed in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Computer literate and posses the ability to work well with others, planning, effectively communicating and initiating problem solving activities.
Can work in a team environment, have good communication skills, be shift flexible and can work overtime as needed.
Continuous mental and visual attention to maintain and troubleshoot equipment utilizing skills such as blueprint reading, electrical , hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge as well as abilities in using volt OHM meter and AC/DC.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
