Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
1.
Maintain a clean, pleasant, and professional image to the guest and wear the proper uniform at all times.
2.
Greets all guests with a friendly welcome and a smile.
3.
Takes ownership of the guest needs and does whatever it takes to please them responding promptly to guest questions, complaints, and requests.
4.
Understands all amenities of the hotel.
5.
Review daily event schedules to assist fellow team members and guests as needed.
6.
Perform all duties as required and other tasks as assigned while following good housekeeping habits and safe work practices.
7.
Provides assistance to other team members to contribute to the smooth operation of the hotel.
8.
Checking guests in and out of the hotel.
Answering sales related phone calls.
Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
Time management skills, Organizational skills, Attention to detail Ability to listen to guests needs and answer questions, Ability to work in a team environment, Ability to work flexible hours including days/nights/weekends/holidays, Ability to stand for long periods of time Professionalism, Positive Attitude, Good personal Hygiene Basic computer skills.
The hotel reservation system is PC based.
Ability to answer and manage the hotel switchboard.
General knowledge of local area.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
