Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Director of Revenue Cycle is to:
Oversight of all Business Office Functions for SNF and AL Locations in Indiana and Florida;Billing and collection of all private and 3rd party payers; including Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, VA, Hospice, Supplemental Policies and Private Pay;Oversight of Medicad Pending Accounts on active patients;Oversight of Resident Trust Systems, including timely reconcilitation and reuired statements;Supervise and train all Regional Field Accountants and Billing StaffOversite and manage updating of PCC SoftwareIND123
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Must possess specific educational and experience requirements such as:
A minimum of 7 years expereience in Long Term Care Billing;3-5 years of Supervisory Experience Overseeing Billing and Collection;A high school diploma or GED; &Have a thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care billing practices;Must possess managerial and interpersonal skills such as:
The ability to follow written and verbal instructions, function independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action;Personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with visitors, government agencies and personnel;The ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel;Judgment in prioritizing the performance of tasks, duties and responsibilities in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures;The ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Compliance and HIPAA;Team Leader, Patience, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and a problem solver;The ability to adhere to professional code of ethics;A passion for accuracy;Knowledge on the use of personal computers, e-mail accounts, software programs such as Word, Excel and Pointe Click Care;The ability to work Monday-Friday during normal business hours and the ability to work before or after hours as needed.
Desired qualifications include:
An Associates Degree or higher in a Business, Accounting or related field.
